"What a happy and beautiful evening we all had at your special Old Angler's Inn. Everything that you had planned couldn't have been better and John had such a happy time. Our son and his even arrived safe from Croatia!

And the birthday cake was so beautiful, and sooooo good. The service for the evening was "tops," and, yes, the weather that you worked on -- I thank you."

"Thank you for organizing our rehearsal dinner at your restaurant on Oct. 8, 2004. We could not have asked for better food or more courteous and warm staff! We are still getting compliments and comments from our friends and family.

Once again - thank you! We're planning on being back soon."

"From the moment we arrived, and the Maitre d' congratulated my wife on our anniversary, I knew I had made the right choice. The waiter working the lounge area suggested a nice house chardonnay and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our drink by the roaring fireplace before escorting us to our take upstairs. Also, we had an opportunity to begin looking over the dinner menu and the Maitre d' suggested the pecan crusted seas bass and the rack of lamb as two of the most outstanding selections on the menu that evening.

The waiters who attended our table were professional, very polite and extremely attentive to all of our needs throughout the entire dinner. My wife and I could not have been any happier. The food selections were incredible and I would say probably the best rack of lamb I've ever had, not to mention the oysters I had for an appetizer. The dinners were proportionally large, something you rarely see at other (finer) restaurants in the D.C. area.

We were treated as though we were guests at someone's house and never felt rushed. This was probably one of our most memorable evenings we've had in a long time and now place your restaurant on our short list of top restaurants in the area."

"The glassware was sparkling, linens immaculate, service attentive but never intrusive or hurried, in spite of what sounded to me like a very ambitious undertaking (5 sittings?). It was a first visit for both of us; for me the first time in 45 years all the decisions were made for me, and my friend, Josephine, even did the driving. She selected the 2 o'clock seating, which we think was an excellent choice. On a beautiful, sunny afternoon we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and seated immediately (at table 28) in a charming room and found by climbing a spiral staircase. Our waiter was Jeff -- with twinkling eyes he made us feel it was his pleasure to take care of us. We both thought the menu was outstanding and everything we had was prepared perfectly; the hot plates were hot, the cold ones chilled.

Thank you for one the best Christmas "presents" ever!"
