Old Angler’s Inn looks forward to hosting your special

We are always willing to customize an event to your exact
specifications.
The Old Angler’s Inn has ambiance unsurpassed in the
area. The structure dates back to 1860 and is surrounded by
ten acres of pastoral countryside. Our stone terrace is legendary
and our cocktail lounge contains a real fireplace.. We are
easily accessible from the entire metropolitan area, but you
cant help feeling you have left the beltway far behind.
Quality is the guiding principle at the Inn. We have a three-diamond
rating from AAA. We also have a three star rating from Washingtonian
Magazine, The Mobil Guide, and The Unofficial Guide to Dining
in Washington D.C. The Zagat Survey says “Always romantic”
and “It’s hard to beat dining on the terrace under
the stars at this picturesque inn, or by the roaring fireplace
on a snowy night.”
A wide variety of areas are available for your special event
including two gazebos perfect for any size wedding, two stone
terraces for large groups, the cocktail lounge with fireplace
and overstuffed sofas and three inside dining areas seating
fourteen, thirty-five people, and fifty people. Ample free
parking is always available.
All events at Old Angler’s Inn feature a full service,
sit down meal. We do not offer buffet service for our banquets.
Pricing of banquet packages may vary depending on the time
and day of the week. Beer, wine, and liquor are always charged
on a per consumption basis. We will be glad to bring in special
items with advance notice, if available. All events will be
charged 5% Maryland state tax and 20% gratuity. A deposit
of at least 25% of the estimated total bill will be required
to hold space for any date. The deposit may be paid by cash,
check or credit card. The balance is due upon completion of
the event payable in cash or by charge card. We need a confirmed
number of people attending your event at least 48 hours in
advance.. The minimum charge will be for the confirmed number
of guests.
Tasting menus are a great option for groups and can always
be done instead of a pre-set menu. Our tasting menus utilize
the very best seasonal products prepared in a spontaneous
manner to satisfy the likes and dislikes of your group. For
lunch events we would do 3 t0 5 courses and for dinner events
we would do 4 to 7 courses. The tasting menus are always a
complete meal with varied tastes, textures and smells. We
feel the tasting menus best showcase the talent and versatility
of our kitchen.
